Muskingum County K-9 Adoption Center Dog of the Week; Meet Snooki!

ZANESVILLE, OH – This Week’s Dog of the Week is a happy girl looking for someone to take her on a car ride to the beach.

Meet Snooki! She’s a 2 to 3-year-old terrier mix who’s great with kids, keeps a clean kennel, and is searching for her forever family.

Doug McQuaid, a volunteer at the K-9 Adoption Center, says Snooki came to them as a stray but they have learned she can do a lot of cool tricks.

“A volunteer favorite, she will even do a few little tricks, we call it.” McQuaid said. “Will shake, sit, high-five, just things a lot of people enjoy seeing. Just so gentle, easy to walk, would be great for any family, just loves, as you can see, loves all the attention she could possibly get.”

The K-9 Adoption Center Staff and Volunteers are gearing up for another busy Fair Week next week.

Some of their adoptable pups will be in the Sheriff’s Tent right as you enter the main gate at the Fairgrounds.

McQuaid is encouraging the community to stop by, share stories or photos of your animals, and have a great time supporting the county’s youth in the process.

“We’re always looking for volunteers, we also still have plenty of food to give away to the public, if that’s something that you need.” McQuaid said. “Microchips for $20 for our volunteer Laurie, so any way that you feel you’d like to come in or need anything, we’d be glad to take care of you.”
