Morgan County Fair Opens Tuesday

MCCONNELSVILLE, Ohio – The Morgan County Fairgrounds are lively with exhibitors, animals, and staff workers preparing for the fair this week.

The Morgan County Fair is taking place Tuesday September 5, 2017 through Saturday September 9, 2017. Morgan County Agricultural Society President Denny Ruff said everyone is preparing today so tomorrow morning animal weigh-in can be done before shows can kick off.

“Lambs will be Tuesday evening, our goats and hogs will be Wednesday, all the cattle shows on Thursday, and some more goats on Friday,” Ruff said. “So it will be a busy week for the kids and we have a lot of good youth here in the county and a lot of good animals.”

The Morgan County Fair is honoring all veterans with free admissions all day Tuesday September 5, 2017 and a tribute at 5:30 P.M. For more information on events and times visit their website at morgan-county-fair.com or pick up a program from the main office.
