Bomb Threat at Tri-Valley High School

Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says one person is in custody after a bomb threat at Tri Valley High School.  Lutz says it happened around 11:30 a.m. Monday.  The Sheriff says a 16-year-old female was taken into custody and is currently in the Muskingum County Juvenile Detention Center.  Sheriff Lutz says a note was found claiming the threat.  The name of the student was not released.  The incident remains under investigation.  There were no injuries reported.
