North Valley Bank Names New President

ZANESVILLE, Ohio--North Valley Bancshares and North Valley Bank have announced the promotion of Chris Olney to President, effective September 1, 2026.

According to a press release, Olney joined North Valley Bank in 2017 and most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Credit and Risk Officer.

During his tenure, he has been an integral member of the leadership team and has played a significant role in the growth, performance, and strategic direction of our organization.

Olney, a lifelong resident of Muskingum County, is actively involved in the community and currently serves on the boards of the Muskingum County Community Foundation, the Muskingum County Library System, and St. John Lutheran Church.
