John H. Fry

John H. Fry, 78, of Zanesville, died at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, October 23, 2017, at Genesis Emergency Room, Zanesville. He was born November 6, 1938, in Cooperdale, OH, a son of the late Harvey and Fawn Webb Fry. He worked at Shaw-Burton, American Match, and at Columbia Cement as a Mechanic, and at Lowe’s in shipping. John attended North Terrace Church of Christ, loved working on John Deere Tractors and gardening.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years, Joyce A. Brillhart Fry, of the home, whom he married April 19, 1959; two sons, Daniel (Laura) Fry and Mark (Kim) Fry; five grandchildren, Heather Fry, Brittany (Tyler) Baisden, Brennan Wolford, Emily Fry, and Nick Fry; two great-grandchildren, Callie and Carlie Baisden; and a brother, Jim (Doris) Fry.

Friends and family may call from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, October 27, 2017, with Mr. William L. Meaige officiating.  He will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
