Miles’ Mission Shines Light on Infant Loss
ZANESVILLE, OH – Miles’ Mission is getting ready for a special day of awareness, and a night filled with hope and remembrance.
This Saturday, September 19th, is Stillbirth Prevention Day. Miles’ Mission is encouraging people to help raise awareness by wearing pink or blue.
“Last year, our courthouse was pink and blue, and we’re going to ask them to do that again this year. It’s exciting to be able to share this with the community but also continue to bring awareness to child loss and allow people to recognize that it’s out there for a lot of families, a lot of women, and it’s something that we’re trying to help in the healing process.” Dr. Michael Bullock, President of Miles’ Mission, said.
The organization will also host its 2026 Night of Impact Gala on Wednesday, October 7th at North Terrace Church in Zanesville. The evening will bring the community together to raise awareness about pregnancy and infant loss. Guests will hear from several speakers, share a meal, and learn how the organization is supporting families through some of life’s most difficult moments.
“It’s called a Night of Impact. How we can impact this community of loss and help, support, and continue to not only increase the awareness but find other resources whether it be counseling, coaching companions, or whatever it is. This is our fundraiser that helps bring that support.” Dr. Bullock said.
