Zanesville Dentists offer $25 Service

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – A local dentistry is opening their doors to anyone for a cleaning, filling, or tooth extraction for only $25.00.

For the last seven years Doctor Scott Williams and Doctor Andy Fuhriman have left one day every year open to the community. Doctor Fuhriman explained the fees collected are matched by the dentistry and given to Christ’s Table.

“They’re very grateful when we walk down we just go down at the end of the day and hand [Christ’s Table Executive Director, Keely Warden] a wad of checks and cash,” Dr. Fuhriman said. “It goes a long way to help [Christ’s Table] and the people who come in are very appreciative. You know a lot of them have been having toothaches and pain that they’ve just been postponing.”

The fundraiser for Christ’s Table is on November 3, 2017 from 7:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M.The Dentistry will not bill anyone’s insurance and will accept cash or checks made out to ‘Christ’s Table’.

Doctor Williams and Doctor Fuhriman will provide one service per patient whether it’s a cleaning, filling, or tooth extraction. Each service will include necessary x-rays and exams for the service provided.

“It’s been going on long enough now that certainly a lot of our patients recognize it, but a lot of the community recognizes it as well and some people this is all they can afford,”Dr. Fuhriman said. “So they come in and this is their annual checkup.”

Doctor Fuhriman shared that Christ’s Table Fundraiser has raised almost $30,000 in the previous six years.

As busy as it is and as hectic as it is. The end of the day it really does feel good because of all the smiles on the people that are so grateful. Yeah we have that schedule set a part, it’s been set a side for months. 14
