Robert Jones

Robert Lee Jones, 79, passed on Sunday, September 20, 2026, from complications from dementia. He was born October 24, 1946, in Zanesville to the late Lawrence and Lois Jones. He was a 1964 graduate of John Glenn High School. Bob served his country and protected our freedom in the United States Navy.
Bob loved to golf and go on vacations. He was a great believer in Jesus Christ, who he couldn’t wait to get to heaven to see.
He is survived by his wife Cindy Jones, whom he married May 18, 2001; his daughter Michelle (Mike) Offineer; his bonus daughter Jennifer (Mike) Nicklaus; step son Mark Bednarzuk; grandchildren: Zack Paul, Haylee Paul, Emily Jones, Ian West, Ronnie West, Noah Matos, Bela Matos and Christina (Ryan) Allbright; great grandchildren: Oscar West and Opal June Allbright; brothers: Oscar (Connie) Jones, Bill Jones and Ab (Rita) Jones; a sister Cinda (Larry) Kern; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved companion Hope.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Randy Jones; his sister in law Pat Jones; and the mother of his children Carol Jones.

Graveside services will be held at 1 PM, Friday, September 25, 2026, at St. Paul Cemetery, with Pastor Joe DiVincenzo officiating. Full Military Honors will be held. THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE, has the distinct honor of serving the Jones family.
