Motorcyclist ride for kids

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Rushing Wind Biker Church is hosting the 21st Annual Motorcyclist for Kids Toy Ride is this Saturday.

This annual event is where motorcyclist will meet at the Colony Square Mall partake in a bike judging, bike blessing, and finish off with a parade to the Muskingum County Salvation Army. According to Rushing Wind Biker Church’s Pastor Michael McGuire the motorcyclist will then give the Salvation Army the donations raised.

“This event draws the motorcycle community together to bring in funds and toys for the underprivileged children here in the Muskingum County area,” McGuire said. “It is a fantastic time to see the motorcyclist community come together and be a part of this outreach.”

Registration starts Saturday November 4,2017 at 1:00 P.M. in the parking lot at the Colony Square Mall. Interested riders will need to provide a $10.00 registration fee or an unwrapped toy of equal value.

“Our goal this year is to see between 300 and 400 motorcyclist come and enter into the parade and we’re looking to reach $6,000 to be able to donate to the Salvation Army, to help our underprivileged children here in the Muskingum County area,” said McGuire.
