Perry County election results

In the race for village of Crooksville Council, Bill Dennis,John Loomis, Robert Scott Locke and Christopher Rice are the winners.

In the race for Village of Somerset Council, Doug Fehrman, Mechelle Siemer, Michael Lally and David Snider have been elected.

And in the race for Village of Corning Council , Nicholas Altier, Tara Bernard, Beulah Gaitten and Thomas Gaitten are the winners.

As for issues in Perry County, the electric aggregation issue was narrowly defeated by almost 400 votes.

In the Village of Roseville, a renewal levy for 4 mills for general fund expense passed .

In the Village of Crooksville, a renewal levy for 2 mills for parks and pools passed as did a renewal levy for 3 mills for park and pools.

In the Village of New Lexington, voters pased a 1 mill renewal levy for parks and recreation  by 70 votes

In the Village of Somerset, a replacement levy for 1 mill for general expense passed.

In the Village of  Shawnee, a renewal levy for 4 mills for current expenses passed.

Voters passed a renewal levy for 3 mills current expenses for the New Lexington School District.

In the Village of Corning, an additional 4.9 mills renewal levy for repairing streets and roadways failed.

Also in the Village of Corning, an additional 4.9 mills levy for police protection was defeated by voters.

And in the Village of Corning, an additional 2.9 mills levy for parks and recreation failed.
