Pet of the Week: Harmony

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- It’s Friday so you know what that means: another furry friend waiting to join your home.
Today, we have a cat who loves to be held. This is Harmony. She is a one year old domestic shorthair cat. She came to the shelter as a stray in September and is patiently awaiting her new home. Harmony has already had her surgery and is up to date on all of her vaccinations. Her adoption fee has been sponsored so anyone looking to bring her home will pay just $30. Murray says she is a calm cat that will do great sitting on your lap while enjoying tv.
“She has a great personality. She gets along obviously with people. She likes to be held and also gets along with cats and dogs. So she would fit right in about any environment of someone that’s looking for a cat.”
As Christmas creeps upon us, the shelter is inviting everyone to become a Kennel Sponsor. Sponsorships can be bought by companies or individuals as gifts and helps support the animals at the shelter.
“Our Kennel Sponsorships are $100 for one year. [You] get a plaque on the wall. Get some, little bit of publicity through our newsletter, and Facebook, and things like that. But the real important thing is that’s one of the things that helps sponsor all of the cats and dogs we feature on “Pet of the Week”.”
If you are interested in giving Harmony a home or becoming a Kennel Sponsor, you can contact the Animal Shelter Society.
