Zanesville, Ohio– USBC hosts veterans day fundraiser at Sunrise Strikes bowling alley.
members of the United States Bowling Congress (u.s.b.c.) came together to host its annual bowling fundraiser. “operation bowl for veterans is a 9 pin no tap tournament open to the public.
“We are hosting our annual 9 pin no tap veterans tournament called operation bowl for veterans. All the proceeds in this tournament get donated here to local veterans in Muskingum, Perry and Morgan counties,” said Linzey Allen, Director at Zanesville USBC.
Not only does this annual event bring out members of the local community, but it always draws the local veterans in the community.
“First of all I’m just glad to be here to be at this event. I know a lot of my friends are not here anymore who would’ve love to enjoy an event like this. I’m just glad that our community has reached out to people like us,” said Veteran, Dan Blackburn.
The United States Bowling Congress of Zanesville will continue to uplift the veterans of the local community through their annual celebratory event.
