Brian’s passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of his family, friends, and the community he loved so dearly.
Brian was truly a pillar of his community, a man whose presence was felt wherever he went. Whether he was welcoming customers to his beloved Hiney’s Smoke Shack, lending his voice as an announcer at local derbies, umpiring youth games, serving as an MC and DJ at car shows and other events, serving as a committee member for the Moonshine Festival, or supporting the New Lexington School District as a former Orange and Black Boosters president and wrestling announcer for several years, Brian had a special way of bringing people together. He also brought smiles and laughter to countless people as everyone’s favorite Grinch.
He was truly one of a kind, with a larger-than-life personality, a heart for his community, and a gift for making every moment memorable. His kindness, humor, and unforgettable spirit left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Brian was employed by KPS of Logan, Ohio, and took great pride in the life he built and the people he surrounded himself with. He was a hardworking and dedicated man who made his mark not only through his career and business ventures but also through the relationships he formed, the friendships he cherished, and the countless memories he created. His unmistakable voice, infectious humor, and larger-than-life spirit will be deeply missed throughout the community.
Above all else, Brian cherished his family. He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. Family meant everything to Brian, and his greatest legacy will live on through the people he loved and the countless lives he touched along the way.
Brian leaves behind his loving wife of 27 years, Lori Orecchio Hinerman; his daughter, Zoe (Dustin) Hinerman; his sons, Seth Hinerman and Brandon (Kelsey) Hinerman; his loving mother, Barbra Hinerman; and his siblings, Kellie, Julie, Regan, and Eddie.
He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Hunter, Aveah, and Owen, who brought immeasurable joy to his life; his special niece, Brittany (William) Hicks; and his beloved nieces, Renee and Mandy.
Brian also shared a special bond with his uncle and mentor, Roger Hinerman, whom he deeply loved and admired. He will be lovingly remembered by his many other nieces, nephews, extended family members, dear friends, and the countless individuals whose lives were made brighter simply by knowing him.
Brian was preceded in death by his father, Keith Hinerman; his brothers, Jerry and Fred Toops; his grandfather-in-law, Joseph Orecchio; his mother-in-law, Carol Ann Orecchio; his uncle, Beau Morehouse; and his grandmother, lovingly known as Grandma Ruth.
Throughout his life, Brian was more than just a familiar face in the community. He was a voice people recognized, a personality people remembered, and a friend to so many. Whether behind a microphone, sharing a laugh, lending a helping hand, or simply enjoying time with those around him, Brian had an extraordinary ability to make people feel welcome and bring joy to every occasion.
Though Brian’s time here was cut tragically short, the impact he made will never be forgotten. The memories he created, the laughter he shared, the traditions he helped build, and the love he gave will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
The world has lost a remarkable man, a community has lost one of its own, and a family has lost someone who can never be replaced. Brian may be gone from our sight, but his spirit will forever remain in the stories we tell, the laughter we remember, and the love that will never fade.
Rest easy, Brian. You will forever be our voice, our Grinch, our family, and our friend. You were truly one of a kind, and there will never be another you. Until we meet again, you will be loved, missed, and remembered always.
