Celebrations Campus Café brings caffeine and more to Zane State College

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Zane State College has a new café on campus to get that caffeine fix and more. Celebrations Campus Café has been open since August but officially celebrated the new business with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday. Steve Meredith, better known as Chef Steve, and his wife Misty own the café and Celebrations Catering by Chef Steve.
“And, it just came about from catering for celebrations for celebrations for people of all kinds, no matter what your party is. Whether it’s a celebration of life, a birthday party, weddings, we love doing weddings. And then, so we just brought the Celebrations name over to the café. Celebrations Campus Café,” Steve said.
The café offers a full espresso bar, dirty sodas, sandwiches, wraps, acai, and three recently added soups for the chilling temperatures. The Celebrations brand has catered multiple events on campus and that partnership has now grown into a more concrete partnership.
“We have been excited about the partnership with Zane State and OUZ. And, just being here on campus for the faculty and the staff and the students but we’re definitely, we’re open to the public. So, we’ve been trying to get the word out that anyone is welcome,” Meredith said.
Celebrations Campus Café will be launching curbside pick-up with online ordering on Monday and can be found in the Zane State Campus Center. They’re currently open Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. but they hope to expand operating hours if they see more off-campus customers.
