Get Ready for the 2026 PAWS Holiday Auction!
ZANESVILLE, OH – PAWS of Muskingum County is getting ready for their annual Holiday Auction.
The auction will be on Saturday November 7th from 11AM until 4PM at the Welcome Center in Downtown Zanesville.
Sue Lake, a volunteer, says they host this fundraiser to help pay for animals spaying or neutering surgeries for community members who aren’t able to afford them.
“We would like to go over our goal from last year, which was $20,000, and I would live to see it be $30,000.” Lake said. “But $25,000 would be great.”
There will be a silent auction, chance auction, 50/50 drawing, baskets, and even a bake sale for everyone to enjoy.
Tammy Jones, the Director of Fundraiser, says it’s free to get in but if you want something from the auctions, you’re going to have to sign in and get your bidder card ready.
“The mission for PAWS is to provide low cost spay and neutering services to our area.” Jones said. “Companion pets of veterans, senior citizens, low income families, and people with disabilities and the cost of spaying and neutering and having your animal vaccinated has just gone through the roof. People are good pet owners but the prices are really putting a strain on everybody.”
