Caravan Brings Fun and Friendship to Zanesville Kids

Unnamed

ZANESVILLE, OH – Wednesday evenings are filled with learning and laughter at Zanesville Northside Church of the Nazarene.

The church hosts Caravan, a free, scouting-based youth program for children in kindergarten through 5th grade, giving them an opportunity to make new friends, participate in activates, and learn valuable life skills.

Pastor Matthew Kirkpastrick said the program focuses on children’s emotional, spiritual, and mental development, helping them build character and grow into well-rounded individuals.

Each week, children enjoy hands-on activities while working toward earning badges and discovering new interests.

Caravan Director Kristen Kirkpatrick said the children recently had the opportunity to explore the church’s sound equipment, learn how microphones work, and complete their technology badges.

In addition to the activities, each child is served a free dinner at 5:30 p.m. The program runs throughout the school year, is completely free, and no registration is required.

Caravan meets every Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Zanesville Northside Church of the Nazarene, located at 739 Francis St. in Zanesville.

You can find more information on the church’s website or Facebook page.
