Debbie Kay Koerner 1962 – 2017

Debbie Kay Koerner, 55 of Zanesville, died, Friday, December 1, 2017, at Genesis Morrison House Hospice. She was born Thursday, July 19, 1962, in Oak Park, IL, the daughter of Frank Scallate and Mary Francis (Lessenberry) Scallate and was a member of Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witness.

Debbie enjoyed watching TV and being with her family. She was a loving and caring companion, mother and grandmother who loved being with those she cared for.

Debbie is survived by her best friend, companion and care giver; Jeremiah “Jay” Young of Zanesville; two daughters: Trina & Danny Hill of London and Amanda Koerner of Canton; one son: Tyler Simmons of Zanesville; nine grandchildren: Noah, Austin, Ebony, Aiden, Haley, Ethan, Destany & her husband: Gary, Brooklyn & Savanah; one brother: Rick & Denise Scallate of Romeoville, IL; one niece: Dawn Scallate and one nephew: Ricky Scallate.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents.
