Christ’s Table will be open on Christmas Day

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Christmas is just a few days away and a local food service organization will be serving up holiday meals.

Christ’s Table will be open Christmas Day from 10:30 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. Christ’s Table Executive Director Keely Warden said a full Christmas Meal will be served. She said this wouldn’t be possible without the community’s support.

“This community is amazing with what they do during the holidays season. I mean their just there to help everybody. They know especially that Christ’s Table will be here open on Christ’s birthday. We’ll be here serving a dinner on Christmas Day and there always do something special,” said Warden.

Christ’s Table will also deliver meals to those who are unable to get out of the house. Warden said a lot of work goes into serving the meals.

“We will be delivering are homebound meals also on Christmas Day so we want to put a big thank you out there to all our volunteers that come in and do the delivery and prepare the meals, come in and serve the meals. We want to thank everybody that comes in and does that,” said Warden.

Warden said Santa might also give away some hidden specials at Christ’s Table on Christmas Day.
