The Barn gears up for the Buckeye bowl game

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The big game is tomorrow night and a local bar has Buckeye fans covered.

The Barn is the place to be for Buckeye fans looking for a good place to watch the game. Owner, Jim Watson, said the establishment will have specials going on including their Buckeye menu which features Buckeye burgers and a dollar off apps. Watson said there will also be entertainment at the bar.

“We’ve got the game on inside and we’ll have it on all of our big screen tv’s. As well as a band playing outside. So we’ll be underneath our heated tents. Be a lot to do for everybody whether you’re a football fan or just want to come for the atmosphere. It’ll be a great time on Friday night.”

Watson says The Barn will also be hosting some fun for the holidays. Tonight the bar is kicking off four days of parties featuring live entertainment.

“This weekend we’ve got a four day party planned down here at The Barn. It’s going to be a great time. We’ve got the band Uncommon Denominator starting off tonight at 7 p.m.. Friday is Falling Under. They also start at 7 and we’ll have the Buckeyes game start at 8:30. We’ve got on Saturday local favorite Sons of Maverick start at 7. And on Sunday for New Year’s Eve, we’ve got the band Bottoms Up starting at 7:30 and DJ Jawz will close out the New Year starting at 11:30.”

The Barn will have other bowl games playing during the parties this weekend.
