Zanesville beats Meadowbrook in OT, stays undefeated in ECOL

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Both Zanesville and Meadowbrook entered Friday’s game undefeated in the ECOL and the winner would be in first place in the conference.
The Blue Devils trailed 47-44 with seconds to play when Cameron Brooks-Harris hit a three-pointer to send the game to overtime. Then in OT Aronde Myers missed a shot in the waning seconds, got his own rebounds, and knocked down a two-pointer as the buzzer sounded to give the Blue Devils the 57-55 win.
The win ends a two game losing streak for ZHS and keeps them in first place in the ECOL. The loss is the first of the season for the Colts.
The two stars of the game, Cam Brooks-Harris and Aronde Myers, combined for 51 points. Brooks-Harris had 31 and Myers had 20.
The Blue Devils have New Philadelphia on Friday.
