3 Semi Accident Closes I-70 WB ***Update***

The Zanesville Post of the Highway Patrol says I-70 westbound was closed for four hours Monday night after three semi trucks were involved in an accident. It happened just west of the Airport Road exit just after 7:30 p.m. Troopers says one of the semi’s was traveling west and lost control and jackknifed…a second semi then struck the jackknifed truck and a third semi struck the second truck. The highway was closed between 8:00 pm and midnight. The first and third semis’ were cited by the patrol. No serious injuries were reported.
