Zwelling Funeral Arrangements Set

The funeral arrangements have been finalized for former Zanesville Mayor and Judge Howard “Butch” Zwelling. He passed away early Sunday morning. Friends and family may call from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday January 24th at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home. The funeral will also be held at the funeral home on Thursday January 25th at 11:00 a.m. with Rabbi Jeff Elson officiating. Zwelling will be laid to rest at Beth Abraham Jewish Cemetery in Zanesville. Zwelling was 81-years-old. He served the community as a Municipal Court Judge for 16 years and a Common Pleas Judge for 6 years. He held the position of Zanesville Mayor for 7 years.
