West sweeps East in District 12 All-Star Classic

OLD WASHINGTON, Ohio – It was a clean sweep for the West All-Stars in the annual All-Star Classic at Buckeye Trail High School.

The girls game tipped first and was never in doubt. The West All-Stars jumped out to an early lead and surged to a 119-50 victory. Lilly Ritz of Cambridge was named game MVP and led all scorers with 30 points.

The ensuing boys game was much closer. The West All-Stars came from behind to win 94-87. Zanesville’s Aronde Myers took home MVP honors. He led all scorers with 33 points.
