Mary Jane Mitchell

Mary Jane Mitchell, 71, Blue Rock, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018 at the Beckett House in New Concord.
Mary Jane was born August 27, 1946 in Chandlersville to the late Dalton and Bernice (Downing) Wilkins. Mary Jane was a book keeper for the Mitchell Dozer Service and other local businesses. A member of the Ark Spring Baptist Church. A member and treasurer of the Ohio County Western Music Assoc, 30 year 4-H advisor, a member of the Business Professional Women Assoc, and loved to sign at Highway 40 Karaoke.
She is survived by her daughters Robin (Rodney) Ferguson of Philo, Billie Jo (Rusty) Kuhn of Blue Rock, and Carla (Keith) Daw of Blue Rock, and adopted daughter is Geneve Powell.
Grandchildren are Sadie (Mathew) Mahon, Shanae (Jeremy Shubert) Daw, Kade Daw, Zachary (Victoria Dollison) Ferguson, Mikhayla Ferguson, Mitchell (Megan) Kuhn and Matthew (Abby Adams) Kuhn, Trenda (Chad) Papageorge. Great grand children Amelia Rose Mahon and McCoy Kuhn and Jocelyn and Jayden Papageorge..
A sister is Betty (Gary) Vineyard of Blue Rock and her brothers are David Wilkins of Chandlersville and Charles (Roxie) Wilkins of Blue Rock.
In addition to her parents Mary Jane is preceded in death by her husband Ralph Mitchell who passed away on April 16, 2013. A brother Dalton Ray Wilkins passing in 1948.
Friends may call at the Farus Funeral Home in Duncan Falls on Tuesday, April 17, from 2-4 and 6-8 where the funeral will be 11 am Wednesday.
Burial will follow in the Ark Spring Cemetery.
