Newark Police Investigate Gun Theft

The Newark Police Department is searching for a suspect or suspects who broke into a home and stole a gun.

Authorities said between March 18-19 someone broke into the home in the first block of Pearl Street and stole a Desert Industries semi-automatic pistol.

The Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering an up to $1,000 reward for anyone with information. Anyone with information should call (740) 349-6888.
