Lester Vandenbark

Lester J. Vandenbark, 81, of Zanesville, died Friday, April 27, 2018 at his residence. He was born September 22, 1936, in Zanesville, a son of the late Virgil and Clara W. Eppley Vandenbark. Lester was a lifetime farmer, owner of Vandenbark Farm raising cattle and hogs.

Surviving are his loving wife of 47 years, Sally Adams Vandenbark, whom he married August 1, 1970; two daughters, Lora (Tim) Carr and Rebecca (Lee) Watson; a son, Byron J. Vandenbark; a step-son, Jeffery Adams; four grandchildren, Mitchell, Brookelyn, Andrew and Allyson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Byron, Virgil and David Vandenbark.

Friends and family may call from 4-7 P.M. Monday, April 30, 2018 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, where services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 1, 2018 with his son-in-law, Pastor Tim Carr officiating. He will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
