THORNVILLE, Ohio – Tuesday was a day to celebrate at Sheridan High School.

Sheridan held their yearly singing day in which every senior who plans to play college athletics signs their letter of intent. Nine General athletes in a number of different sports put pen to paper to solidify their college choices.

The following is a list of Generals who signed.

Lucas Brown – Eastern Michigan (Cross Country and Track)
Kyle Clellan – Malone (Cross Country and Track)
Melanie Clum – Ohio Wesleyan (Softball)
Anna Foster – Clarion (Cross Country and Track)
Lucas Hanson – Bluffton (Baseball)
Ethan Tabor – Ashland (Track)
Austin Wolfe – Walsh (Baseball)
Kaeley Clonch – Muskingum (Track)
Tanner Wollenberg – Capital (Football)

Lucas Brown is the lone DI commit. He’s planning on running cross county and track and field for Eastern Michigan. He said playing college athletics has always been a dream of his.

“Since middle school I’ve wanted to compete at the DI or DII level. And to be able to do that is very exciting. Also being able to compete in the MAC is exciting. All of my friends that have graduated have gone to MAC schools so I’ll be competing against their schools and it will be a good time,” said Brown.
