Sobriety Checkpoint Planned This Week

The Zanesville Post of the Highway Patrol says it’s planning a Sobriety Checkpoint in our area. Lt. Matt Boyd says it’s planned for this week and is designed to deter and intercept impaired drivers. The county where the event will take place will be announced the day prior to the checkpoint, and the location will be announced the morning of the event. If you plan to consume alcohol, designate a driver or make other travel arrangements before you drink.
