Cordray Tours Aerospace Center in Heath

HEATH, Ohio – Ohio Gubernatorial Candidate Richard Cordray took a tour of the Aerospace Center in Heath on Tuesday, September 11th.

MISTRAS Group opened this lab to serve aerospace defense, energy and advanced materials. Cordray said he is interested in seeing how opportunity is created all over Ohio.

“I want to spread out opportunity so that no community is left out or left behind and many communities around Ohio do feel that way and they feel like they have a voice that’s not being hear or respected in Columbus,” Cordray said. So i’m getting out to hear from them and think about what we can do to move this state forward.”

Cordray said MISTRAS Group is an example of a great company. People send things there from all over the world because they are so careful and so good at what they do and this means their out-competing the rest of the world in this area.

“Well I think we can do a lot more for small businesses in the state of Ohio,” Cordray said. “I think we can fire up our infrastructure in this state and rebuild our roads and bridges, access to broadband and help for public transit.”

Cordray said with the right workforce and climate, all of those things combined will spread and create more good jobs and more opportunity all over the state.
