Doggie Day: Grover

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – It may not be Tuesday, but the Muskingum County Dog Warden and Adoption center still has a new pup for you to meet.

Deputy Dog Warden Brittany Calihan wants everyone to meet Grover. She said Grover is a terrier mix who is about three to four years old. She said he is calm overall and would make a great addition to any family.

“It might sound crazy but he would be the perfect dog,” said Calihan. “He is all about taking a nap, but when you want to play, he’s ready. He’s just really good.”

Calihan said that Grover is great with kids but has not been around small dogs or cats. She said he loves playing fetch and is very gentle.

“He loves kids and he’s very gentle with playing fetch, he lets you take the ball out of his mouth, so that’s never an issue,” said Calihan. “He listens, he sits, waits for you to throw it so he’s really good at all that.”

Calihan said Grover has all his shots and is ready to go to a good home. For more information or to adopt Grover, contact the Dog Warden and Adoption Center.
