905 Building Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the Grand Opening of the 905 Building at Zane and Underwood Streets happened on Tuesday, September 18th.

The opening was for Ohio Educational Credit Union, Merrill Lynch and Rea & Associates. Michael King, Manager of OHecu, said they are all excited to work to together.

“Oh it’s a great partnership. When we first found out that we were coming over here, we all sat down and met and obviously we’re all in the financial industry so we compliment each other very well and we’ve actually been able to give each other some referrals. So we’re excited to be tenants with them here in this building,” King said.

The building was originally built in the 90’s and there was major renovations done to get it to where it is now. King said they’ve all been there since May and have been planning the event for awhile.

“We just need to show the community what we are from the Ohio Educational Credit Union standpoint. A lot of people think we’re just for teachers, we’re actually for anybody who went to school in Ohio can join our credit union,” King said. “We offer a lot of financial services that folks might not realize we do so if you went to school in Ohio you can join our credit union.”
