Friday Morning Power Outage

***UPDATE***Power was restored at 5:06 am. **UPDATE***

Some Zanesville residents are going to wake up in the dark Friday.  The Zanesville Police Department says an accident caused damage to a power pole on Sharon Avenue, near Mother Tucker’s Carryout, and knocked out service to the east end of the city.  American Electric Power says 664 customers lost service around 12:00 am and are  not expected to regain power until 5:00 am.  Whiz T-V was also knocked off the air due to the power outage.
