Zanesville man arrested after leading ZPD on a foot chase

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Zanesville Police said a man wanted on two misdemeanor warrants led officers on a short foot chase earlier Friday afternoon.
Lieutenant Chris Rice said suspect, Robert Angler, who was wanted on two active warrants for the misuse of a credit card and receiving stolen property was spotted in the Glessner Avenue area shortly after 1:30.
Lieutenant Rice said when officers approached Angler, he fled on foot. He said they had to call in a K-9 to locate Angler.
Rice said during the pursuit Angler was bit by the police dog and then taken into custody.
No other details were released.
