ZANESVILLE, Ohio – A very important meeting took place Monday, October 1st between the County Commissioners and the Health Commissioner.

Corey Hamilton, Health Commissioner, brought information with Jeremy Davis, Architect, about the different contractors who put in a bid to construct and update the renovations project of the Health Center. The Commissioners wanted to make sure they picked the best contractor for the job so they looked over and scored each one.

“So today was the bid opening for the construction manager at risk project at the 205 North Seventh Street building owned by the county commissioners,” Hamilton said.

The four contractors were, Lepi Enterprises, Paul Construction, PCS Company and Beaver Constructions. All of them bringing the possibility, of different opportunities and strengths, to the table.

“Planning a pretty significant renovation and construction project over there and we received four bids and as a group today the three commissioners, myself and our architect scored them and the scoring was pretty close and the commissioners voted to accept the bid from Paul Construction Company,” Hamilton said.

They are very happy to get this project on the road and feels Paul Constructions will give a great outcome. They will meet with everyone involved with the process by within the next few weeks and come up with a finalized plan.
