Zanesville House Fire Victim in Stable Condition

ZANESVILLE, Ohio–The Zanesville Fire Department released new information Monday in connection to a house fire Sunday.

Interim Chief Doug Hobson said  the woman who was pulled from the home at the corner of Taylor and Bell Streets is identified 41-year-old Janeen Moore.

Hobson said  she is listed in stable condition in the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center burn unit.

She was the only person in the home at the time of the blaze.

Hobson said investigators are still working on where the fire started and its cause.

A Zanesville Police officer saw the smoke just before 9:00 Sunday morning and alerted the fire department.
