Zanesville Woman Assaulted with Car

The Zanesville Police Department is investigating what it’s calling an assault.

It happened around 9:15 p.m. on Downard Road.

Sergeant Fibbs says a woman was intentionall hit with a car and then the driver took off.

Fibbs says the woman was taken to the hopsital by a friend with minor injuries.

The Zanesville Police Department is currently tracking down the driver of the car.
