Two Kids Sent to Hospital After Crash

Two children are sent to the hospital with minor injuries after a two car accident.

It happened around 7:15 p.m on Maple Avenue in front of Whit’s Frozen Custard.

Authorities say a Volkswagen Beetle was making a left turn onto Maple Avenue from the parking lot and struck a Toyota Tarus that was traveling in the turning lane.

Both drivers were not treated for any injuries, but the two kids-who were passengers in the Toyota Tarus-were transported by ambulance to Good Samaritan Hospital to be checked out.
