New Health Coverage Option

Good news for Muskingum County employees. Starting January 1st you’ll have another choice in health plans.

At the County Commissioners meeting this morning Forker Company President Frank Dosch said employees are going to have a high deductible health plan coupled with a health savings account.

"The real exciting news is that we’re going to take their lifetime max from one million dollars to two million dollars," Dosch said.

Dosch told us people are hitting the one million dollar life time max and then they have no coverage.

"We were able to negotiate the two million dollar lifetime max at no additional cost to the county," Dosch said.

He told WHIZ county employees don’t have to change their current plan if they don’t want to but it’s good for the county to have a secondary plan.
