Two Teens Taken By Med Flight

The Granville Post of the State Highway Patrol is investigating a Thursday morning accident that seriously injured two people.

It happened around 10:30 on State Route 661 just north of Granville in McKean Township.

The Patrol says an SUV being driven by 19-year-old James Wood of Granville was traveling at a high rate of speed and somehow swerved and went airborne.

The vehicle rolled over and came to rest in a ditch.

Authorities say Woods and his passenger 18-year-old Trevor Landis of Newark, were both thrown from the vehicle. Neither teen was wearing a seatbelt.

Both were taken by Med Flight to Grant Medical Center in Columbus where they are in stable condition.

The crash is under investigation.
