Area Fire Chief Committs Suicide
The Athens County Sheriff’s Office says it is investigating a suicide at a local agency.
Officers responded to the Nelsonville Fire Station on Friday afternoon, where they say they found the Fire Chief, Timothy Carr, had committed an act of suicide.
The incident is still under investigation.
