Rockies Express Pipeline Rupture Under Control/Residents allowed back home

***UPDATE***  The Muskingum Valley Red Cross is now reporting  (1:18 pm) that residents evacuated after the Rockies Express Pipeline ruptured at a compressor station on Irish Ridge Road are now being allowed to go home.  There were no injuries reported during the incident.  ****

The Muskingum County Emergency Management Agency says part of the Rockies Express Pipeline ruptured this morning around 10:23.  EMA Assistant Director Jeff Jadwin says it happened at the Irish Ridge Road Compressor Station and forced the  evacuation of around a one mile area…around 51 people.  Jadwin says the situation is under control and residents will soon be able to go back home.  Officials from Rockies Express are on the scene and making repairs.
