2026 Genesis Tree of Love Sale!
ZANESVILLE, OH – The Genesis Healthcare Volunteers annual Holiday Fundraiser is back again!
The Tree of Love Fundraiser will run until next Friday, November 13th and you can purchase a tree, poinsettia, or just do a general donation in honor of or in memory of a loved one.
Lee McGee, the Genesis Volunteer Services Manager, says funds from the Tree of Love will go towards the Genesis Foundation as well as to provide new equipment throughout the buildings.
“It’s to benefit our Genesis Foundation but it will also support our Genesis Volunteer program,” McGee explained. “Where we help provide new equipment and different things such as that for the Hospital for our community.”
Trees are $125 and will come with a plaque and lights, the poinsettias are $25 and will be found in the main lobby of the Genesis Hospital, and the general donations are $5.
McGee says there will be a Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, Nov. 20th at the Zanesville location with St. Nick stopping by as well as some performances from local groups.
“That’s also where we have local community [groups] come in and sing and dance.” McGee said. “We’ll have it when they turn the lights on and then it’ll start lighting up the hospital.”
