Pets and the Holidays

When you are heading out to shop this holiday season, many of you will be thinking about what to get your spouse, parents, and siblings.

However, some are thinking about their pets.

"I think they think of them as children, and to some of them, they are their children. So, I think they’re up there, number one on the list, " says We Lov Pets District Manager, Christine Moore.

There’s plenty of gifts out there too for pets.

"This year, it’s been a lot of gift bags with treats in them. I think it’s been the most popular thing we’ve sold. We do have Christmas sweaters and things like that, you know, because it’s pre-season, " says Moore.

Moore says you can pretty much make anything into a gift.

She also says that pets themselves make great gifts for the holiday season but wants to remind everyone that having a pet is a life-long committment.
