H.S. Sports: Rosecrans joins ECOL, local basketball
It’s official, the Rosecrans Bishops are now a member of the East Central Ohio League (as well as Marietta). This now gives the ECOL ten teams with which it will split into two divisions. One division holding Zanesville, Marietta, Cambridge, New Philadelphia and Dover. The other division would contain Rosecrans, Cambridge, Claymont, Coshocton and River View. In other news, the Rosecrans boys basketball team seems to be in mid-season form – and it’s still the preseason. The Bishops rolled over West Muskingum in a preseason foundation game tonight at Rosecrans. The Tri-Valley girls look to be well on their way to another perfect regular season on the wings of Hanna Luburgh, Carly Young and Alyssa Miller yet again.
