Z-ville Man Charged After Drug Bust

Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says one person has been charged after last night’s drug bust on Luck Avenue. 22-year-old Mason Somers of Zanesville is facing two counts of trafficking in drugs and five counts of possession of drugs. Sheriff Lutz says a search warrant was executed at 4-58 Luck Avenue Thursday night around 7:30 and six people were arrested. Lutz says his deputies confiscated marijuana, mushrooms, money, a firearm and drug paraphernalia. Somers is being held in the Muskingum County Jail.
