Newark Shooting Now Ruled Accidential

The Newark Police Department says it now has new information about a shooting Sunday evening at 451 Henderson Avenue. Officer Scott Snow says initial reports that it was a “home invasion” style incident turned out to be incorrect. Snow says the investigation showed that 23-year-old Donald Haser of Newark accidentally shot himself in the foot. 20-year-old Amber Gough also of Newark, who was present at the scene, was arrested and charged with Tampering with Evidence. More charges may be considered by an upcoming Grand Jury.
