No Jail Time in Drug Buy Bust

A woman who admitted to trafficking in drugs learned her fate Monday from Judge Mark Fleegle.

28-year-old Heather Chandler was sentenced to two years of community control, she must perform 100 hours of public service and must successfully complete a drug program at the Franklin County Community Based Corrections Facility.

Chandler had pled guilty to trafficking in crack cocaine, possession of crack cocaine and possession of cocaine.

She was arrested in September after detectives from the Narcotics Unit and Zanesville Police officers conducted a drug-buy bust around the Underwood and Eastman Street area.
