Muskingum Co. Fairgrounds Christmas Bazaar

If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind Christmas gift, the Muskingum County Fairgrounds was the place to be Saturday afternoon.

Christmas decor stretched as far as the eye could see at the 6th Annual Christmas Bazaar. Home-spun presents ranged from ornate wreaths, to holiday foods and even clothing if you need a new Christmas sweater.

"Over a hundred vendors here so you should be able to find something for somebody for Christmas if you are looking for the unusal or unique," says William Agin, Vice President of the Muskingum County Fair Board.

Agin says prices for these items easily beats the prices found in stores. This is Jackie Slivkn’s first Christmas bazaar and she says she is pleased with the crowd.

"I think they are all enjoying the craft show and there’s lots set up and there has been a good crowd here so far," says Jackie Slivkn of Grandma’s Country Attic.

There was no admission cost and the bazaar ran from 9 AM til 3 PM. The event was so successful, the fair board is considering having another bazaar in the spring.
