Mandura Gives Meals
A nutritional supplement company is helping to feed the hungry in Ohio.
Saturday at the Cherry Valley Lodge in Licking County, the Mandura Corporation gave more than a thousand meals to four local organizations.
"So we are going to be giving a great over 1,200 meals today and we have only been doing this for 90 days here in central Ohio, so we are so excited about this and what a great time of the year to do it," says Ron Roesink a Royal Centurian Distributor for Mandura.
The organizations are the Hunger Association of Muskingum County, Veteran’s Administration from Licking County, Community Weslyan Church in Newark and the Stowe Center from Columbus. Mandura says it teamed up nationally with "Kids Against Hunger" to give back to the community.
"For every bottle of nutritional beverage that we sell or is consumed here in central Ohio, that will have a meal linked to it that we give back to charity," says Roesink.
Mandura distributors and represenatives from the charity organizations packed up the boxes containing the packages of meals. Each package makes six meals. Mandura says it will give out meals on a monthly basis. To purchase Mandura, go to ManduraCorporate.com.
