Water Test Affects Y-city Residents

The Muskingum County Water Department says some some Y-city residents will experience low water pressure and discolored water this week.

It’s all due to a fire test taking place at the Ohio Air National Guard Building on Old Wheeling Road Thursday at 8:30am.

The areas affected include Old Wheeling, Hicks and Fulkerson Roads.

The department says customers in that area should check the water for discoloration before doing laundry. No boil advisory will be in place.
